The only reason I gave it a 4 was because i try to reserve 5's for "brand new, right off the presses"Other than that the book was perfect, shipped well and on time and at a great price. One thing, this book is for TRUE Soprano fans, the ones who want to know EVERYTHING about the show. Not the perfect book for the "gabagool" loving paisan or the fans that couldn't wait to see Richie Aprile get what was coming to him. PS, it does not give any insight into the final episodeThis book is highly slanted towards the production of the show. Everything from the kind of liquid substituted for booze to how good the food really was.Don't get me wrong, tons of good stories and particulars about the show that a casual fan would appreciate, just try not to gloss over the backstage sections

It's not the usual slipshod rider on a successful show; it's a well produced and informative look behind the scenes, with lots of interesting comments by David Chase and the actors. My copy was purchased used, in very good (almost fine) condition, at a very reasonable price. My compliments to the seller, who came through well and quickly.
This book brought me back to all of the episodes that I had watched over the years with splendid details making it all rich and bustling again. I watched all of the episodes a second time which were available through my cable carrier and then got to see and read all sorts of background material about the series and its creation. The book covers all areas of the production and is a nice reference for the story content of each episode. .

I have seen the entire Sopranos series in its entirety four times, and I must say this book adds a whole new layer of information and fun facts that any fan of the show, writing, or TV production can appreciate. It has in-depth bios and high-res photos of the sets like inside Tony's house and the back room of the Bada Bing! It also has stories about the writers and cast off-camera, and their lives during the Sopranos days. I read this Sopranos "bible" in 3 nights. A must-read, I could not put this book down!

Very Cool
I bought this book as a gift for a Sopranos' fan, and she loves it. She especially likes the episode by episode "directory" in the back of the book. The book is loaded with pictures and divided into interesting categories, NOT just an episode by episode review--eg. one about coming up with the idea for the show, "Jersey," discussion of each of the characters, the violence . . . .
