The author's excellent coverage and presentation of important material deserves a better-constructed vehicle. Several pages became unbound at my first reading. Nevertheless it is an extremely well-informed, useful presentation of the material.
This book is crammed with minutiae that would not be easily discovered by one's self. It would seem to be the definitive text about wine faults with its own points of view. An interesting read for the wine hobbyist.
Dr. Goode does it again. Informative and intellectually challenging. The shorter entries make for easy reading.
Good book about understanding wine ; it got a little bit slow in some parts of the book with all of the technical chemical terms , good book
