This book contains information for new or experienced teachers of English. It has a country-by-country breakdown of prospective employers and working and living conditions. I have several problems with this book, however. First, it is written from a British perspective, so it is less useful to American teachers. Second, it advertises and promotes the costly and vastly overrated CELTA course. And finally, the English-language teaching industry has many extremely dubious employers in all prospective destinations, and this book does not have enough cautionary advice for teachers or prospective teachers.
