Was very disappointed in this Delorme map book. The old versions showed topographical info, which is why I bought this one. I purchased to update a 10 yr old map book but a lot of the important features I wanted are no longer showing on the maps. This is a good road map but if jeep trails and topograhical fo is what your looking for, buy an older version.
Sometimes its easier to just pick up a DeLorne Atlas of a state when travel planning than to use any on line maps. Also when out in the wilderness or out electricity or battery there's no other way. I keep a DeLonge for several Western States just for that purpose.
The print was so light compared to second edition. Was hard to see.
Sometimes you just need maps on paper, and if so this is your answer. DeLorme map books have greater detail and easier to read graphics than the competition.
Perfect addition to our map collection. We really like the symbol notations (fishing area, hunting area, historical site). Definitely worth the money.
These are always great to have for the outdoor enthusiast. I have worn-out three Washington State copies.
